ABOUT ME

Jana Jones works in the space between improvisation and structure. She builds asymmetrical quilts that mix traditionally pieced blocks with improvisational piecing, composing on the design wall so each quilt finds its own shape. A math background and years in data analysis still show up in how the pieces hold together.

Jana is an invited instructor at the Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum, and her work has appeared in community exhibits throughout the region.
